Janet McLaughlin

Janet Lou McLaughlin, 82, of Flatwoods, passed away January 29, 2021 at her residence.  

Ms. McLaughlin was born October 7, 1938 to the late Claude and Kathleen Nelson Riggle in Huntington, WV.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Louis McLaughlin; her twin sister, Janice Tufts; brother, Robert Riggle; great-grandson, Maddox Nolan Hunt; and her first husband, Bennie Dickison.  

Janet was always taking care of others and put most before herself. She loved being with her grandchildren and traveling with her family.  

She is survived by one daughter, Sherrie McLaughlin; two sons, Bennie (Amy) Dickison and Collin (Becky) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Khristian Rice, Louie “Bub” McLaughlin III, Casey McLaughlin and Kaylee Dickison; great-grandchildren, Ethan Blake Rice and Nolynn Dickess.
