Ingeborg “Inge” Cleaver, 92, of Flatwoods passed away December 14, 2020 in Kings Daughters Medical Center.
Ms. Cleaver was born June 27, 1928 in Munich, Germany to the late Walter Essenboch and Franziska Delling.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Cleaver; and one sister Margit Kahl.
Inge was of a member of the Saint Lawrence Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, as she was a published author, and knitting; she was also an avid fan of Jeopardy and taught herself English by watching the show. Inge was known for her sarcastic sense of humor and would always bring a smile to anyone around. Her goal in life was to teach her children right from wrong and instill a good work ethic in them.
She is survived by two sons, David (Sheryl) Cleaver and Phillip (Kristy) Cleaver; four daughters, Maria Haight, Susie (Ron) Lewis, Patty Eubanks and Helen (Scott) Sutton; one brother, Dieter Kepler; 12 grandchildren; 9 nine great-grandchildren, along with a great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Greenup Helping Hands.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
