Hildegard Viktoria O'Banion

Hildegard Viktoria Dorfler O’Banion, 85, of Ashland, passed away September 12, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family.

Hildegard was born September 15, 1934 in Landshut, Germany to the late George and Magdelena Hoseman Dorfler.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Navy and a son Charles O’Banion.

Hildegard was a retired Nurse from the former Lawrence County General Hospital in Ironton, Ohio. She enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking her famous German Noodles and spending time with her family and grandkids.

Surviving is two daughters, Donna (Jeff) Nichols and Helen Michelle (Windel) Chaffin; two sons, Paul Wayne O’Banion and Max Gregory O’Banion; several grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday September 15, 2020 at Carman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M., Tuesday September 15, 2020 at Carman Funeral Home.
