Glenna Faye Smith, 82, of Flatwoods passed away December 11, 2017 in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

Mrs. Smith was born August 8, 1935 to the late Walter and Agnes Parsons in East Lynn, W.Va.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lucian Smith; son, Steve Smith, brother, Delanoe Parsons; sister, Edna Mae Luther.

Faye was a member of the Moore St. Tabernacle Church in Ashland. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, bird watching and painting bird houses her husband would make, reading, fish, but most of all she loved being with her family.

Surviving is her son Bryan “Scotty” (Zenaida) Smith; grandsons, Josh (Amanda) Smith and Johnny Smith; great-grandsons, Coben Smith and Caleb Slusher; sisters, Eloise Luther, Judy Morrison and Joann Lucas; brothers, Wayne Parsons and Glen Parsons; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Smith.

Funeral services will be at 11 am, Friday, December 15, 2017 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast.

Visitation will be after 9 am, Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Moore St. Tabernacle Church.
