Geraldine Lunsford Malone

Geraldine Lunsford Malone, 72, of Worthington, passed away March 12, 2020 in the Ashland Community Hospice Care Center.

Mrs. Malone was born Sept. 30, 1947, in Ashland, to the late Herman and Mary Lunsford.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Nathan Bowman.

Geraldine was a member of the South Point Sheridan Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching her favorite shows on television, being with her friends and family and playing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Hayward Malone; one brother, Jerry (Sue) Lunsford; two sisters, Sharon Bowman and Barbara (Donny) Jacobs; nieces and nephews, Melissa (Steve) Sparks, Mary Beth Todd, Jeran Dishman, Olivia and Andy Straley, Jennifer, Sherry and Scott Jacobs, Kelly and Sarah Malone; along with great-nieces and nephews, Jamie (Caitlin) Horsley, Brandon (MaKayla) Kiser, Logan Kiser, Dylan Kiser, Wesley Kiser, Garrett Royse and Peyton Dishman; brother-in-law, Meredith (Theresa) Malone

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Ashland Community Hospice Care Center.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Carman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
