Gerald Lee "Jerry" Meadows

Gerald Lee “Jerry” Meadows, 64, of Ashland passed away June 9, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Meadows was born September 27, 1956 in Ashland to the late Redford and Anna Robinson Meadows.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Williams Meadows; one brother, Phillip Meadows; sister-in-law, Debbie Meadows; and father-in-law Charles Williams.

Jerry was a long time manager in the food service industry where he was able to meet many people along the way. He was an avid sports fan enjoying the University of Kentucky Basketball team, the Cincinnati Reds and Alabama football. In his younger years he enjoyed playing golf. Jerry loved to laugh and make those around him happy. When he wasn’t busy working he loved listening to music, bust most of all he loved being with his family.

Surviving is one son, Joshua (Tonya) Meadows; two daughters, Haley (Matt) Bowden and Hollie Cordle; two grandchildren, Taylor Bowden and Carson Bowden; mother-in-law, Dorothy Williams; sisters-in-law,  Shelia (David) Morris, Marilyn Jo (Bill) Webb, Cathy (Randy) Meeks, Vickie Stone; brother-in-law, Bobby (Catherine) William; his grand-puppy Cujo; and a host of very special nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 14, 2021 at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home.
