Gary Scott Cottle

Gary Scott Cottle, 79, of Ashland passed away July 3, 2020 in the Ashland Community Hospice Care Center.

Mr. Cottle was born October 11, 1940, in Morgan County Kentucky, to the late John and Revella Pelfrey.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by Butch Cottle his half-brother.

Gary was of the Baptist Faith and retired as a Steel Worker from McLouth Steel in Trenton Michigan. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, coaching, all sports, watching old westerns, enjoying the outdoors and watching animals and cars.

Surviving is his lovely wife of 56 years Sherry Workman Cottle; son, Michael (Elizabeth Fritz) Cottle; half-brother, Paul Stemmer Jr; half-sister, Regina Ann Stemmer and an Aunt Wilma Pelfrey.

Graveside Services will be at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Ashland Community Hospice Care Center.
