Gary Stevens

Gary Wayne Stevens, age 77, passed away on Wednesday September 18, 2019 in Columbus, OH.

Mr. Stevens was born Jan. 14, 1942 to the late Clifford and Evelyn Stevens.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Gloria Jean.

He attended Ashland High School and was employed by C&O Railroad/ CSX Corporation.  He was active for over 40 years with the Rail Road.  He was Assistant Terminal Trainmaster prior to retirement. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, and boating.

He was married to Carolyn Price Stevens for 55 years; two children, Lori Stevens of Lexington, KY and Gary Stevens II of Columbus, OH; two granddaughters Brittany and Anna, and two great granddaughters Evelyn (Evy) and Violet; along with three brothers, Sherrill Stevens, Michael Stevens and Clifford Stevens Jr.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday Sept. 21, 2019 at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 20, 2019 at the funeral home.
