Evelyn Sue Rice

Evelyn Sue Rice, 59, of Flatwoods passed away April 8, 2018 in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility.

Sue was born Oct. 22, 1958 to the late Floyd and Clara Blankenship Rice in Ashland.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Helen Jean Rice.

She was a graduate of Boyd County High School. Sue was an active supporter of Cancer and Diabetes Research, ASPCA and Humane and Wildlife Society.

Sue is survived by two brothers, Charles Richard Rice of Anchorage, Alaska and Johnny Ray (Monica) Rice of Flatwoods; two sisters, Betty Ann Rice of Flatwoods and Teresa Kay Rice of Flatwoods; a niece which she had a special love relationship with, Madison Willis, along with a host of other family and friends.

A committal service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Heaberlin Cemetery in Wurtland with Pastor Shane Cox officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to be made in Sue’s name to any of the organizations listed above.
