Evan Melnick

Evan Melnick, 75, of Flatwoods, passed away July 26, 2021.

Mr. Melnick was born August 3, 1945 in Boston, MA to the late Eva Melnick Fecteau.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Cross Melnick; two daughters, Dawn Queenan and Rebecca Greathouse. Shortly after his passing his wife Julia Adams Malone Melnick passed away.

Evan was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. He was also a former member of the Huntington VFW Post 1064 and the Flatwoods American Legion Post 325.

Surviving are two daughters, Kimberly Williams and Trina Postell; three sons, David Greathouse, Eric Malone and Kevin Malone; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leo Fecteau and Michael Fecteau; and two sisters, Linda Bedee and Nancy Fecteau Welch.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 30, 2021 at Carman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m., Friday at the funeral home.
