Eva Sue Callihan, 77, of Flatwoods passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at home.
Mrs. Callihan was born January 11, 1944 in Louisa, to the late Willard and Mary Burgess Wellman.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, William Wellman.
Eva was a former beautician for many years before retiring as an office manager at the Cash Emporium in Ashland. She enjoyed sewing in her free time. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her family especially her beautiful grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband and the best caregiver she could have asked for, Edwin Callihan III; one son, Edwin (Sarah) Callihan IV; one daughter, Kelly (Billy) Campbell; grandchildren, Tyler Campbell, Rebel Barber, Edwin Callihan V and Ryleigh Callihan; great-grandchildren, Jackson Campbell, Annabelle Campbell, Edwin Callihan VI, Soren Callihan and Kace Barber; along with her amazing personal nurse, Gloria Fletcher.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the American Breast Cancer Society or the American Alzheimer’s Association.
Due to Covid-19 private family services will be at the Shawnee Church of God, where she was a member. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
