Ethel Twinem

Ethel Twinem, 88, of Ashland, passed away Aug. 27, 2018.

Mrs. Twinem was born Jan. 21, 1930, in Woodsfield, Ohio, to the late Lee and Maggie Baker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Ken Twinem; and five siblings, Fern McCammon, Minnie Kelley, Freda Cavanaugh, Mary Dunn and Ralph Baker.

Ethel was a member of Beech Street Christian Church. She loved to read, work in her garden, but most of all she loved being a grandmother.

She is survived by one son, Preston (Benita) Twinem; one daughter, Teresa (Ed) Hilburn; four grandchildren, Drew Twinem, Ryan Burdette, Jessica (Jon) Mula and Eric Bustetter; two great-grandchildren, Kaelyn and Landon Mula; one sister Gloria Forshey; and a host of many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Rose Hill Burial Park Chapel located at 3801 13th St, Ashland, KY 41102.

Visitation will be after 11:30 am, Thursday at the Chapel.
