Esther Clay Estepp, 90, of Catlettsburg, passed away January 25, 2024, in Oakmont Manor.

Mrs. Estepp was born March 31, 1933, in Ashland, to the late Charles and Bessie Henson Clay.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, David Stapleton; three brothers, Tom Clay, Johnny Clay, and Charles Wesley; five sisters, Evelyn Stapleton, Carol Conn, Magel Elswick, Ethel Dunagan and Mary Clay,

Esther made many memories with her family, cooking them delicious meals or sitting on the couch cheering on the UK Basketball team. She was a hard-working woman and had a quick sense of humor. She also held a special place in her life for her precious dogs.

She is survived by her loving husband, Hobert Estepp; one son, Timothy (Daphne) Stapleton; one daughter, Melissa Burgess; four grandchildren, Russ Stapleton, Ryan (Faith) Stapleton, Sarah (Matthew) Bolin and Aaron (Melissa) Burgess; six great-grandchildren, Madalyn, Nathan, Camryn, Logan, Aiden, and Declan; one brother, David Clay; along with one sister, Shirley Vance.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 P.M., Monday, January 29, 2024, at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
