Ernest Neil Stevens

Ernest Neil Stevens, 82, of Raceland, Kentucky passed away Saturday evening July 18, 2020 at his home surrounded by his Family.

Ernest was born June 18, 1938 in York, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Hazel Bradley Stevens.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Sally C. Moore Stevens; brothers, Carl Stevens, Gene Stevens, Gary Stevens, Tom Stevens, Ellis Stevens and Dennis Stevens; sisters, Glenna Adkins, Gladys McKee and Rata Stevens; grandson, Eric Stevens.

Ernest proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired after 35 plus years. He enjoyed watching t.v., collecting coins, spending time with family and loving on his grandbabies.  

Surviving is his daughters, Sherri and Sunae Stevens; sons, Shawn (Anita) Stevens and Shane Stevens; grandchildren, Brittany (Talmadge) Stevens, Damon Pinkney, Christopher Stevens, Josh Graves, Mikey Stevens, Ian Stevens; great grandchildren, Taj Callihan and Soren Callihan; brother, Wayne (Mary) Stevens; sisters, Kay Stevens and Sue (Mike) Mowery; along with a host of extended family, friends and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 P.M., Friday July 24, 2020 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Pastor Samuel Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honor Rights.

Visiation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 23, 2020 and one hour before the Funeral Friday at the Funeral Home.
