Ernest Harold McKnight

Ernest Harold McKnight, 61, of Russell, Kentucky passed away Saturday afternoon July 18, 2020 at Kings Daughters Medical Center.

Ernest was born April 25, 1959, in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Opal Kouns McKnight.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers Freddie Joe and Ronald McKnight and sisters Elizabeth and Sandra McKnight.

Ernest enjoyed fishing, wrestling, fixing and tinkering on things and loved helping people and spending time with his family.

Surviving is daughters, Magan Kelly and Angel McKnight; son, Dustin (Andrea) McKnight; grandchildren, Breanna McKnight, Tyler McKnight, Sarah McKnight, Travis Cox, Jacob Kelly and Isiah Kelly; brother, James (Darlene) McKnight; sisters, Ella Dillon, Donna (Steve) Justice, Kathy (Greg) Donovan, Jonell (Sandy) Lewis Yvonne May, Dewanna Ashworth; and his loving Fiancé, Melody Holderby.

Private Family Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday July 22, 2020 at Carman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dixon Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
