Emma Lou Coburn

Emma Lou Coburn, of Ashland, passed away December 25, 2020 in the Community Hospice Care Center.

Ms. Coburn was born September 27, 1934 in Greenup County to the late Virgil and Lucy Stevens.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Coburn; one brother, Larry (Sandra) Stevens; and a sister, Marlene (James) Blankenship.

Emma was a member of the Williams Creek Church. She enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls and shoes and canning food from the garden. Emma will be remembered for always having a smile on her face.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra (David) Raybourn and Teresa (Loren) Coburn Jordan; one step-son, Michael (Sherri) Bell; grandchildren, Morgan (Ben) Robinson, Maggie Grimm and Whitney Bundy; great-grandchildren, Kylea Robinson, Colin Robinson, Eoin Halfacre and Draco Gehrling; three brothers, Ellis (Sue) Stevens, David (Pattye) Stevens and Joe (Dottie) Stevens; special nephew, Nick Stevens; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the funeral home.
