Edwin Charles Duke

Edwin Charles Duke, 93, of Flatwoods passed away June 13, 2020 at his home surrounded by family.

Mr. Duke was born October 19, 1926 to the late William and Nellie Carr Duke.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, William S. Duke II and David Duke; along with two sisters, Dorris Colvin and Cornelius Burgess.

E.C. was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, where he was aboard the USS Bunker Hill. He retired from CSX Railroad as an electrician. In his free time he enjoyed build model trains and watching the Cincinnati Reds Baseball.

He is survived by one son, William (Linda) Duke; two daughters, Patty (Bill) Williams and Sandy (Don) Hatfield; his lifelong companion, Francis Bates; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Ashland Community Hospice Care Center.

Private services will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East.
