Edmond Ray Adkins

Edmond Ray Adkins, 89, of Greenup, passed away Jan. 1, 2019, in Trinity Station Retirement Community.

Edmond was born Oct. 5, 1929, in Braeholm, W.Va., to the late Wildie and Ruth White Adkins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Jo Adkins; five brothers; and four sisters.

Edmond was a member of Flatwoods Church of Christ. He was a former member of Harmony Four Gospel Quartet and retired from CSX Railroad.

He is survived by two daughters, Vicki (Brad) Belcher and Debbie (Carl) Keyes; two sons, Butch (Carla) Adkins and Mike (CJ) Adkins; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends that will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at Flatwoods Church of Christ with Pastor Mark Day officiating.

Visitation will be after 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
