Dwayne C. Griswold, 49, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017, at his residence.

Mr. Griswold was born July 15, 1967, in Ashland.

He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Dwayne was a graduate of Boyd County School High School and Shawnee State University where he earned an associate degree in Occupational Therapy. He was employed at Three Rivers Home Care in Louisa and formerly worked at Genesis Eldercare in West Virginia, Health South in Dothan, Ala., and AK Steel. He loved to lift weights, ride motorcycles and loved to travel, when he was able. Most of all, he loved being with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Marty Griswold; two brothers, Jeff (Misty) Griswold and Greg Griswold; four nieces, Ashley Griswold, Brinley Griswold, Mayci Griswold, and Abby Crawford; and his girlfriend, Robin Cloud and her daughter Victoria Estes.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
