Dorthy Faye Stringham, 80, of Ashland went to be with the Lord on Aug. 25, 2017 in Kings Daughters Medical Center, following a brief illness.

Faye was born Nov. 19, 1936 to the late James and Alka George Baldridge in Greenup.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by the late Charles Monroe Conley, the father of her children, and her late husband, William Stringham, both of Ashland; four brothers, James Baldridge, Cecil Baldridge, Warren Baldridge, and Raymond Baldridge.

Faye was a volunteer at Kings Daughters Medical Center for 13 years. She was a devout Christian and dedicated member of the Living Waters Warship Center in Ashland. She was also an active member of her community and a loving dedicated friend to many.

Surviving are her children and pride and joy, one son, Steve Conley of Flatwoods; one daughter Regina (Leo) Ward of Catlettsburg; her loving dog, Sassy. She was blessed with several nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Faye left a legacy of passion for life, an undying love for her children, faithfulness to her friends and family, and a dedicated life to God, her church family, and her community. She will be greatly missed by all until the day we are all reunited one again in heaven.

Funeral services will be at 1 pm, Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017 at Carman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 11 am, Wednesday at the funeral home.
