Donald E. Carver

Donald E. Carver, 70 of Flatwoods, passed away Friday evening, June 5, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Ashland, Kentucky January 14, 1950, to the late George M. and Polly Carver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; and a granddaughter Birklea Carver.

Don was a Self-employed carpenter who loved woodworking and enjoyed making things for loved ones. He served his community as a Firefighter and Chaplain for the Raceland Fire Department Station 20 and was a member of the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church in Raceland. In his free time he enjoyed Fishing, Hunting and spending time with Family.

Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Margaret Pancake Carver; sons, Joseph (Shanna) Carver and Anthony (Erin) Carver; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Carver, Levi Carver, Lexi Carver, Titus Jones and Trinity Jones; two brothers; three sisters; along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church with Pastor Anthony Keaton officiating. The address to the Church is 52 Bellefonte Road Raceland, KY 41169.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Ashland Bellefonte Cancer Center at 122 St. Christopher Drive Ashland, KY 41101.
