Dennis M. Pickett

Dennis M. Pickett, 76, of Flatwoods, passed away July 1, 2020 in the Sanctuary of The Ohio Valley.

Mr. Pickett was born November 30, 1943 to the late Milford “MJ” and Mattie Hitt Pickett.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Pickett; one brother, Kenny Pickett.

Dennis was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends, relaxing with a Pepsi, cup of Coffee and eating a snack of a honeybun. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing golf.

Surviving is one son, Denny (Mary Beth) Pickett; one daughter, Pamela (Wayne) Massie; grandchildren, TJ Pickett, Tawana Elkins and Cortney Brewer; great-grandchildren, Rylan Pickett, Eden Pickett, Gracie Elkins, Faith Elkins, Paisleigh Prasovic, Paxton Prasovic and Kinsley Brewer; brother, Bob Pickett; and two sisters, Marlene Bourdeau and Pat Estes.

Private services will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East.
