Denise “Dee” Regae Stiltner

Denise “Dee” Regae Stiltner, 61, of Ashland passed away May 20, 2022 in the Cleveland Clinic.

Ms. Stiltner was born August 21, 1960 in Ironton, OH to the late Fred “Watt” Sammons and Wanda Hensley Sammons.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Lisa Lea Sammons, Grandparents Durwood Sammons and Sylvia McCoy Sammons, Richard Melvin Hensley and Elizabeth Litteral Hensley.

Denise was a former Teachers Aid for several years in the Boyd County School Systems.  She was known to her family and friends as one of the most kindhearted and giving person one would ever meet.  Denise was always smiling, full of laughter and loved life.  Her personal relationship with God was strong and always relied upon her faith in God.  She was one that loved her family and she loved them without measure.  Her son Clay and her granddaughter Mizzouri were the light of her life.  Denise will be greatly missed by both her family and her friends. With her departure there is a great void but also great happiness and assurance in knowing she has been reunited with loved ones, whom departed before her, and there is great jubilation in Heaven.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Clay Stiltner, her partner of over 30 years, David LeMaster, her loving granddaughter Mizzouri Stiltner; one brother, Fred (Kelly) Sammons, II; nephews Joshua, Caleb, Aiden Sammons and Jaxson Snowden; her second family, Steve (Bonita) LeMaster, Butch LeMaster and Stephanie (Jason) Poplin; along with a host of other close family and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 P.M., Friday, May 27, 2022 at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00, Friday at the funeral home.
