Deborah Navy

Deborah Navy, 65, of Ashland, passed away July 31, 2020 at her residence.

Ms. Navy was born December 11, 1954 in Portsmouth to Hildegard Dorfler O’Banion and the late Paul O’Banion.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by one brother, Charles O’Banion.

Deborah retired from Huntington High School as an Art Teacher; painting and guiding young artist was a true passion of hers. She didn’t cook much, but the food network was her favorite station to watch while enjoying a meal of Chinese. Ms. Navy was a funny woman who would offer a warm smile to anyone.  Deborah was also an avid supporter of our President, Donald Trump.

She is survived by four daughters, Robyn (Evyian) Terry, Vicky Blankenship, Sarah (Eric) Beasley and Jeanna Cumpton; grandchildren, Kodi Lewis, Isaac Massie, Gabby Blankenship, Haylee Clifton, Shayla Griffith, Joshua Lynch, Lexie Cumpton, Aubry Cumpton, Ray Terry and Gryffen Terry; two brothers, Wayne O’Banion and Max O’Banion; and two sisters, Michelle (Windel Chaffins) Cumpton and Donna (Jeff) Nichols.

A celebration of life will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2020 at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
