David "Randy" Witten

David “Randy” Witten, passed away from this life into eternal life at his home on Monday, August 3, 2020.

He was born August 19, 1960 in Ashland. The son of Patty S. Witten and the late Millard (Mid) Witten.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Earl and Carrie Witten; and maternal grandparents, Charles and Ruth Stevens.

He was a CSX Railroad Carman for nearly 30 years. Randy had a great love for the outdoors; that included hunting, fishing and boating.

Along with his mother, Patty S. Witten, he is survived by two sisters, Lesa (Ricky) Mullins of Saint Augustine, FL and Teresa (Junie) O’Brien of Grayson, KY; nieces, Amy (Jerad) Snead of Campbellsville, KY, Amber (Mark) Sturgill of Louisville, KY, Lakyn O’Brien (Andrew Miller) of Morehead, KY, Kacy (Ryan) Hicks of Grayson, KY; his sons, Brandon (Larissa) Chambers of Grayson, KY and Brice Witten of Myrtle Beach, SC; one great-niece, Khalie Jo Mullins; granddaughter, Brandi Chambers; his beloved aunt Bonnie Abrams of Raceland, KY. He is also leaving behind a multitude of family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2020 at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m., Friday at the funeral home.
