Daniel "Danny" Chinn

Daniel “Danny” Lee Chinn, 84, of Russell passed away August 28, 2021 in the Ashland Community Hospice Care Center.

Mr. Chinn was born March 7, 1937 in Raceland, Kentucky to the late James and Majorie McKenzie Chinn.

Danny enjoyed boating, hunting and collecting model trains and very active and participated with the Festival of Trees and Trains at the Paramount Art Center yearly.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Georgina Gearheart Chinn; daughter, Regina Chinn; sons, Jeff (Teresa) Chinn, Brian (Katherine) Chinn; grandchildren, Hillary (Luke) Simmons, Meredith (Luke) Sparks and Madison Chinn; great-grandchild, Parker Kate Sparks.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Avenue Ashland, KY 41101 and Bridges Christian Church 1402 Kenwood Drive, Russell, KY 41169.

Graveside Services will be at 12:00 P.M., Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens with Tom Lawson, Kevin Fraley and Jack Patterson officiating.

All guests attending the graveside service are asked to wear a mask and keep a safe distance.
