Dana Withrow

Dana Withrow, 58, of Flatwoods passed away Dec. 30, 2019 in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

Mrs. Withrow was born Sept. 27, 1961 in Ashland to the late Melvin Guy and Neva Marie Daniels.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, David King.

Dana was of the Methodist Faith and a former Sunday School teacher. Her love was her family and being with her grandchildren. She enjoyed sending cards, crocheting and reading when she got the chance. Dana was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan and would help Calipari coach from behind the TV screen. Also Dana was a former employee of First and People’s bank for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Withrow and her beloved dogs Jessie, Stitch, and Rusty; one son, Derek (Jessie) Withrow; one daughter, Katelyn (Blake) Fowler; two grandchildren, Zeke and Kingston Withrow; and 3 grandogs R2, Chewie, and Brooks, two brothers, Don (Debbie) Daniels and Bernard (Debbie) King, along with their children, Leah and Chad King; sister-in-law, Margaret King; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.

Dana had a passion to make sure everyone was fed. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the River Cities Harvest at 2516 Carter Ave #7830, Ashland, KY 41101.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 at Carman Funeral Home with Roger McCaleb officiating. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 2, 2019 at the funeral home.
