Curtis Edward Daniels, 69, of Flatwoods, passed away November 20, 2020 at King’s Daughters Medical Center.
Curt was born February 12, 1951 in Ashland, KY, to the late Rev. William and Irene (Edwards) Daniels.
In addition to his parents, Curt was preceded in death by his first wife Barbara Ann (Thompson) Daniels, brothers Rodney & James Daniels, & sister Deloris Cole.
Curt was a retired laborer of local 1445. There was never a dull moment around him, he was a prankster & jokester at all times. He never met a stranger being as friendly & approachable as they come. Curt loved horses, camping, trail riding, spending time with family & friends, all while laughing & enjoying life. He was a member of both Boyd & Lawrence County Saddle Clubs.
Curt is survived by his lovely wife Janet (Senters) Daniels, son Curtis Daniels II, step son Austin Robinson, daughters Sherry (the late Jimmy) Mills & Angie (Kenny) Greer, grandchildren Justin Daniels, Lindsey Clark, Amber Daniels, Austin Greer, Brooke Loudenback, Brittany Dale, Brandi Mills, Rachel Wright, 14 great-grandchildren, sisters Belva Scaggs, Billie Lewis, Connie (Mike) Morgan, & Patricia Tackett. He also leaves behind a multitude of nieces, nephews, family, & friends who will miss him dearly.
Private services will be at Carman Funeral Home Wednesday the 25th of November 2020 with Pastor Randy Patrick officiating. Live streaming will be available for viewing at 12:00 p.m. on carmanfuneral.com. Burial to follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
Viewing by vehicle will be Tuesday the 24th of November 2020 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Carman Funeral Home. We ask everyone please remain inside your vehicle at all times, keep in line with flow of traffic, & observe directional cues from Carman Funeral Home staff.
