Crystal Jean Blevins

Crystal Jean Blevins, 52, of Greenup, passed away September 8, 2022 in the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV.

Ms. Blevins was born January 25, 1970, to the late Gary and Jackie Hamm Grim in Columbus, OH.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Allie Wayne Blevins; and one son, Cody Wayne Blevins.

Crystal referred to herself as a domestic goddess, always trying to take care of her family and those she loved around her. She had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. She was an active mom that loved being a part of sports and the school’s PTA program. Crystal was an only child and was spoiled by her parents, but she loved being able to spoil everyone around.

She is survived by her daughter, Kala (Luis) Escobedo; two grandchildren, Sofia and Sebastian Escobedo; along with a host of other close family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the Flatwoods First Pentecostal Church with Pastor Shane Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Lemaster Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, at the Church.
