Clifford “Jack” Edwin Williams departed this world and arrived in his heavenly home on Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Jack was born in Kenedy, TX, February 25, 1931. He was 86 years old, soon to be 87.

Above all things, Jack was known as a faithful believer in Jesus Christ. He was of the Baptist faith and served actively as a deacon in various Baptist Churches in Corpus Christi. Texas.

Jack served his country in the Korean War from 1948-1955. His branch of services was the United States Navy. He served on the US Higbee in the Sea of Japan.

Jack was preceded in earthly death and eternal life by his wife of 53 years, Sybil Rebecca Newell Williams.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his children, Clifford Elliot (Shelia) Williams, of Flatwoods, James Kenneth Williams of Houston, TX, and Claudie Diane (Kenneth) Williams of Seguin, TX; three grandchildren, Shawnda (Chance), Jeremy (Alyssa) and Joseph (Allison); three great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Michael and Christopher.

The Celebration of Life service will be at 1 pm, Tuesday, February 13 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Pastor Ken Gowin officiating.

Visitation will be after 12 Noon Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested in memory of Jack to be sent to First Baptist Church, Romanian Missions, PO Box U, Russell, Kentucky 41169.

Thanks are sincerely expressed to the staff of Oakmont’s Skilled Nursing Facility who assisted the family in Jack’s care for the past 3 ½ years.
