Casey Ann Joseph Fraley

May 23, 1975 ~ September 4, 2022 (age 47) 47 Years Old

Tribute

Casey Ann Joseph Fraley, 47, of Raceland, passed away September 4, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Fraley was born May 23, 1975 in Prestonsburg, KY, to Wanda Snow Kendrick Joseph and the late Ashland Joseph Sr.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by one son, Armon Jackson Fraley; and her sister, Katrina Lynn Joseph.

Casey was a lover of all things Christmas and Santa Claus. The house would be filled with trees, lights and figurines; the tackier the better was her motto. Her favorite part of the holiday was putting thousands of icicles on her “vintage” tree, because that’s all the family could stand. She loved taking care of her mom and going out with the family, especially if it was to the Golden Corral. If you were within reaching distance you probably knew she loved to play with everyone’s earlobes and more often than not, you would have to smack her hand away or she would rub them raw.

She and her mother were baptized on her birthday at the Old Steam Baptist Church in 2021. Casey also worked for Value City for many years in management before the store’s closing and was able to meet so many wonderful people throughout her time there. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and she held a loyal bond with her family and those she loved most.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Patrick Fraley; her daughter, Abigail Fraley; four brothers, Harry Joseph, Ashland (Eva) Joseph Jr., Todd Joseph, Joshua Joseph; a special brother, Dain Bender III; nieces and nephews, Franca (Ryan) Tolliver, Ashland (Elizabeth) Joseph III, Baleigh (Cameron) Vandeneynde, Isabella (Jake Wireman) Joseph, Lucas Joseph, Jessica Folger, Sarah Folger, Laurel Fraley, Michelle Fraley and Liam Fraley; great-nieces and nephew, Hazel Joseph, Harper Tolliver and Kasen Folger; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lisa (David) Folger, Michael (Lisa) Fraley, Kathy Cox and Erik (Annie) Fraley; her father and mother-in law, Larry (Rita) Fraley and Ellen Fraley; along with a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and other close family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Monday, September 12, 2022 at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday, September 10, 2022 and Sunday September 11, 2022 at the funeral home.
