Carl E. Mullins

Carl E. Mullins, 84, of Flatwoods, passed away May 6, 2018 in the Community Hospice Care Center.

Mr. Mullins was born in Wurtland, February 3, 1934 to the late James and Etta Mullins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford Mullins; one sister, Pearl Stewart.

Carl was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy and a former Carman with C&O Railroad. He enjoyed working around the yard and make birdhouses and aggravation time with the grandkids.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bertha Mullins; two daughters, Rita (Rodney) Griffith and Sherry Salyer; two sons, Ricky (Lesa) Mullins and David Mullins; 7 grandchildren, Amy (Jerad) Snead, Ryne (Lacey) Salyer, Brandon Mullins, Amber (Mark) Sturgill, Andrew Mullins, Jeremy Griffith, Colin Griffith; one great-grandchild, Khalie Mullins.

Funeral services will be at 11 am, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 10 am, Wednesday at the funeral home.
