Bryan Mauk, 69, of Wurtland, passed away November 1, 2021.
Bryan was born August 17, 1952, in Oklahoma City, OK, to the late Clarence and Bernice Campbell Mauk Jr.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Mauk, and one brother-in-law, Michael Boyle.
Bryan was a very active member of the Christ Temple Church in Huntington, where he enjoyed serving in the Men’s ministry. Woodworking was his passion as he liked creating something new with his hands. Bryan also loved being outside and appreciating God’s creation. Above all, his favorite thing was spending time with his family. His three grandsons were his world, and when he was with them Bryan always smiled the brightest.
Connie was Bryan’s lifelong best friend and wife. They were a pair, and it wasn’t often that you saw one without the other. Together in life, and now in death, they were the true loves of each other’s lives.
He is survived by two daughters, Megan Lykins (Jason) and Mary Mauk; grandchildren, Elijah, Noah and Malachi; two sisters, Sharlene Boyle and Carla (Ron) White; along with a host of many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christ Temple Church Men’s Ministry, at 2400 Johnstown Road, Huntington, WV 25701 or www.ctcwv.com.
