Brent Edward Fultz

February 5, 1967 ~ October 16, 2021 (age 54) 54 Years Old

Tribute

Brent Edward Fultz, 54, of Flatwoods, passed away October 16, 2021 after an extended illness, surrounded by family at his home.

Mr. Fultz was born February 5, 1967, in Ironton to Johnny Fultz and the late Irene Stevens Fultz.

Brent was an auto technician for the City of Ashland. His love of cars was endless and he took pride in his 1984 Monte Carlo Super Sport with a 454 big block. His garage became a hangout with his friends as he worked on cars throughout life; you could also find him driving around the neighborhood and doing burnouts. He enjoyed helping his Jones street neighbors out. There were many times you would see him mowing lawns around the neighborhood or helping them with their cars. However, his family brought him the most joy in life. He loved taking the family camping, practicing softball with his daughter Cassie and helping out with Nikki’s cross country team.

Along with his father, he is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Angela Tibbs Fultz; two daughters, Nicole (John) McVey and Cassidy (Tristan Harris) Fultz; two grandchildren, Milo and Mara McVey; one brother, Tony Fultz; one sister, Kathy (Kenny) Large; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Community Hospice or to an animal shelter of your choosing.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Carman Funeral Home with Kenny Large officiating.

Visitation will from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the funeral home.
