Betty Ann Rice

Betty Ann Rice, 78, of Flatwoods, passed away Sept. 25, 2018. in Oakmont Manor.

She was born July 12, 1940, in Ashland, to the late Floyd Vernon and Clara Belle Blankenship Rice.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Sue Rice and Helen Jean Rice.

She is survived by one sister, Teresa Kay Rice; two brothers, Charles Richard Rice and Johnny Ray (Monica) Rice; and a host of Nieces and nephews.

Betty was a special lady who brought joy and laughter to everyone she met. She enjoyed watching KEA T.V., especially Daniel The Tiger, and loved to sing.

The family would like to extend special thanks for the loving care of Oakmont Manor and Community Hospice.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Oct. 1, 2018, at Heaberlin Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Oakmont Manor or Community Hospice.
