Bessie Wilma Juanita McFarlin Inskeep

Bessie Wilma Juanita McFarlin Inskeep, 77, of Flatwoods, passed away April 17, 2019 in Community Hospice.

Mrs. Inskeep was born in Franklin Furnace, Ohio, Sept. 20, 1941 to the late Ollie and Bessie Blevins McFarlin.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Inskeep Sammons; brothers and sisters, Dennis Raymond Yates, Samuel Richard Randolph Yates, Chester Leroy Yates, Lenville Haril Yates, Delmous Paul Yates, Estil Elven “Gene” Yates, Mattie Ruth Yates McLeod, Leonard Windell Yates, Ramona Sue McFarlin, Dolly Beatrice McFarlin, Steril Cisco McFarlin, Bonnie Belle McFarlin, Estella McFarlin, Katherine McFarlin and Henry Riley “Dick” McFarlin.

Juanita was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed genealogy, collecting Longaberger baskets, and playing with her dog, Dakota.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Donald Inskeep Sr.; son, Donnie (Christy) Inskeep Jr.; four grandchildren, Olivia Inskeep, Nicholas Inskeep, Shawn (Ashley) Deskins and Shyanne Sammons; two great-grandchildren, Maggie Deskins and Shawn R. Deskins.; and a host of many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2019 at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods. Burial will follow in Palmer Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home.
