Alice Faye Potter

Alice Faye Potter, 80, of Flatwoods passed away September 5, 2020 at her residence.

Ms. Potter was born July 4, 1940 to the late Dallas Clifford Wheeler and Lillian Catherine Fudge in Bidwell, Ohio.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Vernon Wayne Potter; son, Charles Wayne Potter; brothers, Dallas Nathan Wheeler and Charles Raymond Lynch.

Faye was former Cafeteria employee for the Russell Independent School System. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and helping her family and friends. During the Christmas season you would find her and her late husband, Wayne, decorating the entire block.

She is survived by one brother, George Wesley Newland of Raceland; one sister, Lynda Jane Tolar of Brandon, MS; one brother-in-law, Gaylord Potter; along with a host of other close family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2020 at Carman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m., Friday at the funeral home.
