Warren Detty, 81, of Greenup, passed away Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. 

Mr. Detty was born Oct. 16, 1935, in Deerfield, Ohio, to the late Vernon and Zelma Williamson-Detty. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elnor Detty. 

Warren was of the Pentecostal Faith. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Warren was an avid NASCAR fan, loved reading classic novels, watching the news and working around the house. 

He is survived by his daughters, Constance Detty and Lise Detty; two brothers, TJ Detty and Joe Detty; six sisters, Maxine (Delmar) Lowe, Darlene Hall, Edith Lowe, Donna (Steven) Winters, Kay (Fred) Grubb, Doris Detty and Wanda (Kenny) Meyer. 

A committal service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods. 

Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods is in charge of arrangements.
