McCleta and Mom (Dorothy Vandergriff) were such good friends. I will eternally be grateful for the hours she sat by Mom's bedside and so thankful of the time and effort she gave to the G.A.s.

I started at KD in 1964 on old 2-center with McCleta..Thacker, then. We had a blast working together! Loved her, and am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a great nurse and a better friend. She lived a full, Happy life!

McCletta will be missed. She always opened her home to me when I was growing up and Cheryl and I would play together. She spent many of her days off taking us to the pool. I will cherish these memories.
