Linda Diane Dechant

Linda Diane Dechant, 64, of Flatwoods, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, March 2, 2024, in King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Diane was born November 20, 1959, in Ashland, to the late John and Nancy Lemaster Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Sherry Callihan; one brother, Johnny Johnson; and one brother-in-law, Hassle Greene.

Each year Diane waited for the warm weather of spring and summer to arrive. She was filled with joy when she was able to plant her beautiful flowers or taking a trip to the beach with her family. She liked spending time out by her pond with her fur-babies, Riley, and Izzy, watching the fish swim around. She was an amazing caregiver to her family and loved watching her children and grandchildren grow.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Dechant; two daughters, Stacey Davis, and Erin (Mitch) Smith; three grandchildren, Lilly Collins, Carson Davis, and Greyson Smith; one brother, Rick (Mary) Johnson; along with one sister, Sue Greene.

At the request of Diane, there will be no public services.
