June Miller Duerk, 94, of Raceland passed away December 3, 2017 in Oakmont Manor.

Mrs. Duerk was born June 4, 1923 to the late George and Mary Ada Farley Miller in Ironton, OH.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Earl Duerk; son, Erick Franklin Duerk; brother, Adgar Miller.

June loved to decorate her house, travel to the Smoky Mountains, and Hosting the neighborhood Bible Study for several years. She was also a former member of the Order of The Eastern Star.

She will be missed by several special neighbors and friends.

Graveside services will be at 1 pm, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
