Chester Hearl Baldridge Sr., 89 of Danleyton KY., passed away at his home Wednesday evening August 2, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Culp Creek April 10, 1928 a son of the late John and Lora Justice Baldridge.

Chester was a retired Diesel Mechanic from Standard Slag Company with 28 years 7 months of service, a member of Chinn’s Branch Baptist Church and a life time Farmer.

Besides his parents he is preceded death by his loving wife of 69 years Thelma Baldridge, two children Lois Baldridge and Chester Baldridge JR., two grandsons Tyler Baldridge and Matthew Dingus, 4 brothers, 5 sisters and one son in law Roger Justice.

Chester Leaves Behind 10 Children Louise Richter of New Lexington, OH., Carol Faulkner of Ironton, OH., Jane Justice of Greenup, KY., John Baldridge of Newark, OH., Karen (Eddie) Shrader of Flatwoods, KY., Toni Baldridge of Greenup, KY., David (Diana) Baldridge of Greenup, KY., Scott Baldridge of Greenup, KY., Michael (Tanya) Baldridge of Wheelersburg, OH., Lori Baldridge of Dallas TX., one beloved daughter in law Janet Baldridge and one brother Johnny Baldridge of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren Andrea (Tony) Emmanuel, Kelly (Tom) Adams, Kristy (Mike) Adams, Jonathan (Becky) Baldridge, Daniel (Cheryl Castle) Baldridge, Alex Baldridge, Abram Baldridge, Stephanie Jenkins, and Megan Shrader., 5 great-grandchildren Alexis, Lorelei, Holly, Aiden, Thorin, and several nieces and nephews. Chester will be missed but not forgotten, he will be forever in our hearts and prayers.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY., with Bob Baldridge officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY. Friends may call at the Carman Funeral Home Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and from 10 A.M. until the funeral hour on Saturday.

Jonathan Baldridge, Daniel Baldridge, Alex Baldridge, Mike Adams, Tom Adams and Tony Emmanuel will serve as pallbearers.
