Brenda Popovich, 70, of Worthington, died Nov. 8, 2017 after a long illness in the Concord Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg, OH.

Mrs. Popovich was born April 5, 1947 to the late Don and Hazel Webb in Gary, WV.

In addition to her parents Don and Marie Webb, she is preceded in death by her brother Donald Webb.

Brenda was a 1965 graduate of Gary High School. She earned a masters degree from Morehead State University. She was an educator at Holy Family School in Ashland, and also a teacher for Wurtland Middle School in Greenup County until her retirement.

Brenda also, was very passionate about heling to find homes for retired racing greyhounds; she will be missed by her canine friends Speedo and Bridget.

Surviving is her devoted husband,  Lawrence Popovich of Worthington; daughter Suzie Wortham of Hillsborough, NC; sister-in-law, Janet Webb of Crossville, TN, Betty Popovich Ridgeway of North Chesterfield, VA and Patricia Popovich Duda Whittier, CA, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at a later date in the Roselawn Cemetery in Princeton, WV.
