Ann F. Patterson Miller

Ann F. Patterson Miller, 86, left this life for her heavenly home on Saturday March 9th, 2024. She was the wife of Robert J. Miller of Ashland.

She was born on November 4, 1937, a daughter of the late Frank Fisher and Helena Salmon Fisher. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Patterson and a son, John D. Patterson Il, and a sister, Susan F. Hillock.

Ann was a graduate of Kentucky Christian University and taught at Calvary Christian School for 16 years until it closed. She attended Advance Methodist Church and was a member of their Ladies' group. She also attended the First Presbyterian Church in Ashland. She was a former volunteer at the Paramount Arts Center and a member of the Ashland Senior Center and Greenup Dance Club.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Steve Patterson (Mary) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Eric Patterson (Robin) of Maysville, KY, two daughters, Ruthie Lynd (John) of Russell and Kathleen Holbrook of Ashland, a brother, James Fisher of Sedona, Arizona and a sister, Gretchen Vanderslice of California, along with six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family would like to express their thanks to Oakmont Manor for their kindness, comfort, and care.

At her request, there are no services at this time. Any memorial gifts should go to the Salvation Army. A private family Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Carman Funeral Home of Flatwoods has been entrusted with her care.
