Verda Earl Gore, 84, of Ashland KY passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014.
She was born on August 11, 1929 in Paintsville, KY to the late Steven D. Frazier and Emma Williams Frazier.  Verda graduated from Stivers High School in Dayton OH. She married the late Charles A. Gore in April 1946.
Verda was a devoted wife, a loving mother,and a graceful, nurturing person who was loved and admired by her family and friends.
Verda is survived by her son Michael Gore of Fairlawn, VA; her sister Fanny and brother-in-law John Hood of Catlettsburg, KY; her brother James Hasten and sister-in-law Peggy Frazier of Dayton, OH; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Verda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her two sons, Chuck and Dan; and her siblings Bruce, Stephen Jr., Foster, Eugene, Cecil, Kathleen, Ruby, and Clara.
There will be a family graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingsbrook Lifecare Center.
