Elizabeth Pickles Tygart, 85, of Shelbyville, KY passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 after a long battle with lung cancer.
Elizabeth was born October 6, 1928 in Kimball, WV to the late Daniel and Elizabeth Mosco Pickles.
Mrs. Tygart was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, growing roses, fishing but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Elisabeth was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Tygart in 1994, and three brothers Mike, Harry, and Donald Pickles.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving daughters; Priscilla Belcher of Shelbyville, KY, Teresa Lewis of Shelbyville, KY and Linda Tygart of Danville, KY, two sons; Jeff (Susan) Tygart of Ashland, KY and Daniel and his widow Kristal Tygart of Standford, KY, one brother Raymond Lee Pickles of Tacoma, WA, fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild and many family and friends that will miss her dearly.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday July 19, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Carman Funeral Home-Flatwoods. Visitation for family and friends will be held two hours prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
